The power of your mind, the people you surround yourself with, a question for founders
Try this to help you unwind before bed
Some nights, slowing down and switching off is the hardest part.
That’s where AGZ comes in—the new nightly drink from AG1 designed to help you unwind, sleep well, and wake up in the morning without the grogginess that you may get from other sleep products.*
Rather than overriding your body's natural rhythms, AGZ helps your mind and body ease into rest with easy-to-absorb ingredients such as Saffron, Magnesium and Ashwagandha.
You can choose from three tasty flavors, Mixed Berry, Chocolate and Chocolate mint and every first purchase comes with a FREE AGZ frother.

Read time: 3 minutes
Good evening, 66.1ers.
Elk thoughts:
Been spending a lot of time outside lately. What that means is clearer thoughts, deeper sleep, more energy. I watched 150 elk scream bugles at each other for a couple hours as the sun set last night. The rut is on! Some “healthy living” insights I’ve been thinking on lately:
You’re the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with
Are they happy, healthy, wealthy?
If not, who do you need to spend more time with?
Less?
It’s an uncomfortable truth that will change your life as soon as you come to terms with it.You’ll never become more than you envision for yourself
My coach Elliott Boll suggested reading Psycho-Cybernetics.The thesis is, essentially, that without imagining yourself as you want to be, you’ll never get there.
Call it woo-woo. Or think about all the people whose minds are filled with negative garbage and realize how their world pretty much matches what’s going on between their ears? Imagine what could happen if you decided to leverage all that mental horsepower to do positive stuff?Everything you do matters
Save a little bit of money here and there for the next few years? Might not feel like much, but it opens up doors to do things like buy a house, leave a job before you have the next one lined up, etc. Train for 20 minutes every day? And you’re going to end up in pretty darn good shape a few years from now. Go in the opposite direction? You’ll be broke and out of shape. Small actions, big results.
A question for founders:
I’ve got a few friends who have started their own business. They’re high-agency, high-energy, always looking for ways to help others get ahead. Some of the highest quality people I know. But life as a founder is stressing them out beyond belief. From a purely rational perspective, it makes a person wonder why people continue down this path. If you’re a founder, I’d be curious to see your reply to this week’s LinkedIn poll?
Recommendation of the week:
My friend Casey launched Rambl Gear a few weeks ago. If you’re an adventurous type, you might want to check out his gear organizer.
That’s all for this Wednesday.
See you on Saturday.
Have fun out there.
