Read time: 3 minutes

Good evening, 66.1ers.
Fun week so far with health coaching patients and clients.
Some interesting takeaways as a result.
Maybe you’ll think so too?

What do you need to cross off?

Talked to a friend earlier today. He’s got a head full of business ideas. Somewhere between 7 and 12 unique ideas. Any one of them could work. But he’s doing them all at the same time, and has been for 3 years.

He doesn’t have enough time and attention to spend on any of them. The result? None of them are working.

We talked for 33 minutes. I asked a lot of questions. Which opportunities aren’t exciting? Which ones will take a long time to become profitable? Where you will be 3 years from now if you don’t change your ways? How is this affecting your family? Your day job? Your health? Your self-esteem?

Do you get it? He’s trying to do too much. Better to build momentum, then use some of that momentum to apply to the next thing. Whether you’re building an exercise habit or a business, the principle is the same: start small, make something that works. Crawl before you try to walk, walk before you run.

So the question for you is…what do you need to cross off your list? Where are you trying to do too much, to the point that it’s counterproductive and harmful to your health?

A few of you clicked through and completed this survey yesterday. To the rest of you: mind taking 30 seconds to help make 66.1 better?

Recommendation of the week

I was talking to a Mayo Clinic patient today. Works a physical job. 12 hour shifts. Came to us with terrible back pain that kept him home from work. Now he’s rating his pain 1/10 (0=no pain). He told me his zero-drop work boots make a world of difference for his back pain.

So?
Go explore some zero-drop options.
I like the Merrell Trail Gloves.
People who are into cushion like Altras.

Both are good. Keep you out of bad posture, out of pain.

That’s all for this Wednesday.
See you on Saturday.
Have fun out there.
