Health coaching?
What's it look like?
Ok!
A few people have asked.
“What does it look like to work with Marcus 1:1 as a health coach?”
Whether you’re trying to lose weight, recover from surgery, or some other goal that’s big and important, the principles are the same:
We’re building habits
Healthy eating.
Exercise.
Improved sleep.
Healthier relationships.
These things take time.
Did you know that it takes an average of 66 days to build a habit?
A little over 2 months.
So we plan to work together for 3 months.
Some people like to stick around for longer (it can take up to 254 days to build a habit).
Others think they’ve got it in a month (some habits are built in as few as 18 days).
So, here’s how it looks.
You and I will talk 3-5 times per week.
Bring all your questions.
I’ll answer them.
Run out of questions?
I’ll ask you questions.
And I’ve never run out of questions.
At the beginning, you’ll have more to do than you can wrap your head around.
That’s ok.
The first month will be tough.
By week 6, you’ll start to feel confident.
By week 8, you’ll be making some changes on your own.
By week 12, you’ll be showing up late to calls because you know what to do and you have bigger priorities in your life.
It takes $2,000 for me to get you up and running in month one.
We’ll talk 3+ times per week.
Multiple times per day if you need it.
If we solve all your problems after the first month, we part ways.
If it’s working and you could use some more support, we’ll go for another 2 months.
If you need a lot of me (continuing with 3-5 conversations per week)?
$2,000/month.
If we’re in maintenance mode, talking 1-2 times per week?
$1,000/month for months 2 and 3.
Unless…
You’ve got some big problems and you’re not very fun?
It might be $10,000/month.
All told, somewhere between $4,000-$30,000.
Most folks will be closer to $4,000.
No matter who you are, it’s way too much money if you don’t have a clear goal + timeline, and a strong WHY.
Not sure what those are?
A clear goal + timeline looks like this:
“I’m going to lose 20 pounds by the end of the year.”
A WHY is something like this:
“I’m sick and tired of slowing my husband down when we want to go on a hike during vacation.”
Or, “I think my health is disrupting my sexuality. My wife would be excited to see me lose weight and reignite our life behind closed doors.”
Or, “I know I need a knee replacement, but my doctor says I’m too heavy. If I carry on like this, I’ll never be able to get the surgery, I’ll continue to be less active, I’ll keep gaining weight, and my world will continue to get smaller until I die.”
Or, “My parents are fat and can’t do anything active with their grandchildren (my children). I don’t want that for my own grandkids. I want to be a fun, cool grandma.”
So?
If you’re this…
Ready for a change.
Maybe we should talk?
