An update: What's new at 66.1

Making the most of your 66.1 subscription

Read time: 3 minutes

Good morning, 66.1ers.

You’ve probably noticed that Saturday’s newsletter looked a little different. Different font, slight changes in formatting. If you clicked through to read it online, you noticed a much different website.

All these changes (and more) are because we moved 66.1 over to Substack. Substack provides a better reader experience and will allow you to get more out of 66.1. We’re going to send a couple “Welcome to Substack” emails over the next few weeks to help you navigate the new platform and make the most of your 66.1 subscription.

If you like videos (including a screen share to make sense of the instructions below), check this out:

1. Move the email to your primary inbox

This one’s important. If your Saturday email arrived in a folder besides your primary inbox, please slide it over to your primary. This ensures that you and future 66.1 subscribers will actually see new posts when they’re published.

2. Check out all the old posts

Substack has a beautiful website layout. All 94 issues of 66.1 (all the way back to issue #1 in July 2023) are available for you to look back on.

3. Download the Substack app

You can now read 66.1 on the Substack mobile app. It’s a much nicer reading experience than going to our old website or reading in your email inbox. If you’re a mobile reader, this is going to be a huge addition.

4. Subscribe to 66.1 Saturdays

Annual subscriptions will be available at $49 launch pricing for another week.

Subscribers will get:

-Full access to Saturday deep dives (to build your understanding of important topics in longevity science)

-Exclusive access to podcast recordings of Saturday deep dives (so you can listen during your commute, on your run, or while cooking dinner)

-Access to the 66.1 community via comments and messages (so you can learn from other community members)

-Exclusive access to quarterly “roundup” posts (a pared-down resource to help you quickly access the most actionable information from the last quarter of 66.1)

-Early access to future resources (ebooks, databases, etc.)

Thanks for supporting the mission to help everyday people live healthier, for longer. See you on Wednesday. Have fun out there.

Marcus
