Food for thought:

This week, we’re resurfacing some important insights on the topic of habit building. I’ve had a number of folks asking a version of the question, “How do I maintain healthy habits?” lately. This ones for you all.

Whether it’s eating clean, training regularly, or getting your sleep, we all get tripped up.

If this is you, spend some time with the PDF below. And hey—could ya let me know which of the mental models below was your favorite?

A question for you:

In the world of health coaching, we call this a “wellness vision”.

20 years from now, in a future in which you maintained the healthy habit you’re working to build today, what would you be able to do thanks to building the habit? An example: a client shared that she wanted to resume training on a weekly basis and eating clean so that, 30 years from now, when she has grandchildren, she can be the “Fun, cool grandma.”

So she can get down on the floor and play with her grandkids. Take them to amusement parks. Attend their baseball games.

For me, all my training is aimed at one single goal: hunt in the backcountry until I’m 80+. Memories shared with my closest friends and loved ones. A sense of clarity not found in front of a computer screen. The cleanest meat on the planet.

What’s your wellness vision?

Reply here and let me know—I’d love to hear more.

Workout of the week:

Air Squats

A classic.

Bend the knees, refresh the mind, tackle the rest of your day. Simple exercises get results, too.

Enjoy!

That’s all for this Wednesday.See you on Saturday.Have fun out there.Marcus
